The STRATUS project was recently presented at the General Assembly of the I3-4-Biofertilizers project, held in Rouen, France. This event brought together around 40 participants from across Europe, including representatives from SMEs, innovation clusters, regional authorities, and research institutions, all working toward advancing sustainable agricultural practices and promoting the use of bio-based fertilizers.

VEGEPOLYS VALLEY, STRATUS partner from France, introduced the project to attendees, highlighting its objectives and current progress in developing a European network of advisors to accelerate the adoption of Integrated Fertilization Management (IFM). The presentation showcased the Good Practices (GPs) and Research Innovations (RIs) collected by STRATUS that focus on bio-based fertilizers—practical examples of how nutrient management can be both efficient and environmentally responsible. These materials are available on the STRATUS website under The Rsults section, offering valuable insights into innovative fertilization strategies.

Another key point of the presentation was the introduction of the AdvisoryAgriHub platform, a collaborative online hub developed with the support of STRATUS and other EU-funded projects. The platform offers advisors, researchers, and stakeholders access to a growing database of practices, training materials, and networking opportunities in multiple languages. Participants were encouraged to explore the Inventory of Practices and Innovations now available online, which includes 52 documented examples of sustainable fertilization approaches from across Europe.

Looking ahead, VEGEPOLYS VALLEY also outlined upcoming Cross-Visits and Demonstration Events planned within STRATUS. These interactive activities will enable advisors and farmers to exchange experiences, witness best practices in action, and discuss the real-world application of innovative fertilization techniques. Members of the I3-4-Biofertilizers consortium were invited to participate in these activities and contribute to the ongoing knowledge exchange within the STRATUS network.

I3-4-Biofertilizers recently launched an open call for innovative biofertilizer projects, offering financial support to SMEs across Europe. Interested organizations can apply before 14 November through the project’s website.

This meeting marked another step forward in strengthening collaboration between European projects working toward a common goal: building more sustainable and resilient agricultural systems through innovation and shared knowledge.
